Happy to report that the Read-a-Rama: A Trauma-Informed and Healing Centered Approach was debuted at the June 14 training that RaR staff put on. We received excellent feedback from participants about what they learned, and what they were looking for more support on. Our major take-away is that the training was really helpful, especially for the hour time limit, and that they would like some more real-life examples of incidents that are addressed in a trauma-informed way. Dr. Martin and I will be implementing these changes over the next month to roll out Version 2 for the next training. So grateful to the participants for their participation and feedback, and to be continuing this project to make it as effective as possible for our community.
